District 200 Students

Please mark your calendars for September 20, 2008 for the third annual N.E.W. 200 Fun Run and Festival. The N.E.W. 200 Foundation is a districtwide non-profit foundation, focused on enhancing the educational experience of students and teachers throughout all 20 schools in District 200.

The Fun Run is a 5K or 1 mile run/walk, along with other rides and attractions. This year’s event will be on Saturday, September 20 at Hubble Middle School.

The N.E.W. 200 Foundation has given out over $100,000 of support to the district schools over the past seven years, enriching programs such as the Modeling Methodology for science instruction, digital microscopy for middle school collaborative science, P.A.L.S. for at risk families, weather stations for hands-on learning, bilingual literacy support, and podcasting.
